The Walk of Fame
Yesterday, I couldn't speak.
Another rejection made me weak.
Doubt consumed my weary head,
As I closed my eyes and went to bed.
But then I saw the Walk of Fame,
A blinding star around my name,
And the most beautiful woman in the game.
She said, "One day, you'll have a private jet,
A trailer on a movie set,
And a zoo full of exotic pets.
But first, you must pass this test,
Of hearing a million 'No's before the 'Yes.'
Your destiny lies here, in the west.
I'll see you again once you're the best."
So I woke up from my deep depression,
And focused on the next audition.
